During the 1950s many of the existing fleet of steam powered tug boats were converted to diesel. This resulted in modifications to the wheelhouse and stacks. These changes are reflected in this modernized version of Great Lakes Towing Companies L.C. SABIN. Many of the converted tug boats are still in service today. Tug measures 11in x 3-1/4in.
