Iowa Scaled Engineering MSS-SWITCH - SimpleSig MSS Switch Signal Basic for Modules
Note: This version includes three ATOM DCC block detectors, and is intended for use on modules. For use on home or club, we recommend the SimpleSig MSSSwitch Signal Basic for Layouts, which includes only two ATOM DCC block detectors. To better understand whether you need one or two detectors, see this question in the FAQ on Iowa Scaled Engineering's Website..
The Iowa Scaled Engineering SimpleSig Switch Signal Basic is complete solution for adding basic ABS-style block signals at the end of a siding or other junction between signaled tracks. It provides what's known as a "complex cascade" in Modular Signal System terms. It's perfect for adding simple signaling to both home layouts and modules!
Features
- Complete ABS-style signaling solution for siding ends or other track junctions
- Compatible with Modular Signal System standards 1.x, 2.x, and (proposed) 3.x
- Controls three LED signals for the end of a siding - a dual-headed signal at the points end and two single-headed signals for main and siding
- Powered from 8V to 24V DC, AC, or DCC power.
- Compatible with both common anode (positive) and common cathode (negative) signals
- Realistic signal fading during changes for both tri-light and searchlight style signals
- Supports both always-on signals and approach lighting
- Configurable for three or four indication signaling
- Option to restrict diverging aspect to a maximum of diverging approach
- Simple plug-and-play compatibility with most Atlas HO and N scale signals
- Includes control board, three ATOM DCC block detectors, one TrainSpotter optical detector
- Detectors just plug into the main board with supplied 8ft cables - no fiddly terminal blocks!
