The Cadillac Eldorado was manufactured in the USA between 1952 and 2002 across 12 generations of the marque. Our Oxford replica in 1:87 scale is from the third era, panning the short period between 1957 and 1958, when it was produced with a distinctive body shell and rear wheel drive. With four doors, there was a choice of a convertible or closed top and our Oxford replica is closed. Elegant detailing included low down swept bumpers, elaborate tail fins with a steel ?beauty panel? section that ran from the rear wheel arches into the rear bumpers. Even the top edges of the tail fins are finished in chrome while the front bumper came in three sections. All these physical details are here on our replica, decorated in a sandalwood colour scheme with silver roof, in contrast to all the chrome. The interior is honey beige with a grey steering wheel. Our Cadillac hails from Illinois, Land of Lincoln number 456 789 in 1957.

At the time, this version was also the most expensive of all the Cadillac models.
