This is the initial release of the InterMountain Railway HO scale SD40-2. The model has a new drive with six wheel HTC trucks, equipped for DC or DCC operation. There are numerous finely molded features including snow shields, radiator fan blades, ditch lights, walkway tread, and cab interior. Etched metal details include radiator and fan grills, stair treads, drop steps, wipers, and antenna. Grab irons are metal wire. Kadee couplers are included. Minimum Radius 19.5inch
