        Iowa Scaled Engineering MSS-DEBUG - SimpleSig MSS Debugger

        The Iowa Scaled Engineering SimpleSig Debugger is a diagnostic tool designed to help users debug Modular Signal System (MSS) setups, from testing hardware already installed on layout modules to developing new MSS hardware. It provides a handheld, stand-alone way to see which MSS signal wires are active on the bus, or manually activate individual signal wires and test how installed MSS signaling modules react.  The Debugger requires 3x AAA batteries to provide operating power and includes a 1' straight-through ethernet cable for attaching it to an adjacent MSS node.

        • Diagnostic LEDs indicate status of MSS signal lines:
          • Local Block Occupancy
          • Approach Occupancy In (to node)
          • Advance Approach Occupancy In (to node)
          • Advance Occupancy Out (from node)
          • Advance Approach Occupancy Out (from node)
          • Diverging Approach In/Out (to/from node)
        • Switches for toggling each signal line to test module response
        • 12V bus pull-up voltage for testing bus segments without pull-ups (e.g. MSS-CROSSOVER module)
        • Compliant with MSS 1.x, 2.x, and proposed 3.x standards. (Draft MSS 3.x support added in version 2.0 of the Debugger)
        • Powered from 3x AAA batteries
