ECoSLink Terminal Bus Distribution Plate - 6 Slave Jacks With 0.9m Cable
If your train layout is growing and you need additional ECoSBoost boosters and ECoSDetector feedback modules to connect to your ECoS command station, and you are running out of connectors, you should buy the ECoSlink Terminal!
More room:
The ECoSlink Terminal will be connected to the ECoS or central station via the provided bus cable to the extend jack. It offers on the front panel two jacks for hand controllers (e.g. mobile station) and at the back four sockets for devices mounted under the layout. These include mainly ECoSBoost booster and ECoSDetector feedback modules.
The ECoSlink Terminal can provide power to all attached devices either from the ECoS power supply, or for a section from an external power supply through the ECoSlink themselves. This is especially useful for larger systems with many hand controls, boosters and feedback modules.
More distance:
If more than one ECoSlink Terminal is used, the terminals can be connected to each other with standard Ethernet patch cables with RJ45 connectors. These patch cables can be purchased in any computer store in any length.
More organisation:
Each ECoSlink Terminal is usually at the front panel of the layout installed: Only the front panel is visible. This reduces the cable clutter under the layout.
More flexibility:
The ECoSlink Terminal can be used on ECoS and central station. The CAN bus is only passively distributed together with the supply and booster cables and the termination is ensured. The function is transparent for the digital control unit. Since an interference in the communication of the bus does not take place, thus alone decide the control unit and the connected devices whether they will work together.

- Over 16,000 locomotives can be arranged and controlled
- Up to 28 functions per locomotive
- All Scales can be used with the Cab Control system with the variable voltage 7Amp Power Supply
Built-in WLAN Access Point:
- Creates a unique Wifi-Network for your Mobile Control II Wireless throttles
- Supports at least 32 Mobile Control II Wireless Controllers Compliant with all relevant IEEE WLAN standards.
- Suitable for use in America and Europe
- The Cab Control features a LAN port to connect the box to your home network.
- Via the home network, the Cab Control can be connected to Model Rail Road Control Software.
ECoSlink port:
- For easy connection with our ESU boosters, Cab Control supports ECoSlink, a high speed, CAN based bus system.
- The Cab Control built-in booster has so much power that, in most cases, you do not need additional ones.
HOOK UP:
Hook up is simple with the Cab Control system. All you have to do is plug the 7 Amp power supply into the Cab Control box and then hook up your Cab Control box to your track for track power and its ready to go! The wireless controllers automatically connect to the system via WLAN.
UPGRADABLE:
On occasion new features will be added to the Cab Control system. Gone are the days of having to send your DCC command station back to the manufacturer for updates! When a new update becomes available it is as simple as loading this to a USB Data stick and plugging it in to the back of the system. Easy!
PROTECTION:
Each Cab Control system meets the relevant requirements regarding safety and operation on a layout. The track outlet is protected against overload as well as short circuits. Each Cab Control system can differentiate between a genuine short, and a momentary current drain when passing over switches or gaps. We place value on the indestructibility of the device, just like we do with our mobile decoders.
EXPANSION:
As the Cab Control System uses the ESU Mobile Control II Wireless Throttles, expansion is easy as these throttles are already available and will connect automatically to the Integrated Control Unit. The system can also be used with the ECoSBoost Boosters using the ECoSlink Terminals when more power is needed for large layouts.
CAB CONTROL - HANDHELD WIRELESS THROTTLE
Ergonomics & Functionality Combined:
When you hold your Cab Control Throttle in your hands for the first time you will immediately notice its excellent ergonomics. All Parts of the screen can easily be reached with one hand, and unlike a cell phone throttle, the most important functions can even be reached without looking giving you the ability to watch your trains and not needing to watch your throttle. This is due to the central, motorized throttle knob with end stop. With this knob you can delicately control the speed of your trains and change direction.
For activating functions simply touch the icons on the display. The display also serves for changing functions ? exactly the same way as you know it from your mobile phone. Finally, two buttons each on either side serve for changing direction or triggering the most important functions. These side buttons are user editable giving you the choice of what you want to control with them.
Colorized Function Icons are displayed showing what function does what. Gone are the days of having to memorize what function button control what decoder feature.
Running Locomotives:
The Cab Control Throttles can control all locomotives registered in the system and supports 14, 28 or 128 speed steps. All of the important locomotive properties such as name, a picture, function mapping as well as easily identifiable icons for function buttons will be taken from the Integrated Control Unit and will be displayed correctly.
You may switch up to 28 functions for each locomotive, which, of course, can either be momentary or continuous functions. You read that correctly! EVERY Function Button can be momentary or latching depending on your use! No more limitations on how you function map your decoders.
As standards are constantly changing and the number of DCC function buttons is increased a simple update will allow for even more!
Controlling Accessories:
The Cab Control System has the ability to run over 1000 magnetic accessories!
More Fun in Operations:
The high resolution (480 x 800 pixels, 280 dpi), backlit TFT display of the CabControl Throttle always keeps you up to date on the most important operating parameters. Furthermore, you can see if another operator controls a certain locomotive or if an emergency stop has been triggered. The permanently installed, powerful Lithium polymer rechargeable battery will serve you right through the most extensive operating sessions giving 5-8 hours of operation based on how you are using your throttles. Recharge the batteries of your CabControl simply by using the USB port on the Integrated Control Unit and the supplied Micro USB Cable or the battery charger of your mobile phone or any other USB port.
Open Platform:
The Cab Control Throttles are based on the Android operating system. We have created a powerful basis for this open, globally used operating system: The ARM Cortex A8 microprocessor clocked with 1.3 GHz and controls a high resolution 3.2 inch TFT color display. A capacitive touch screen assures touch-free data entry. For communicating with the outside world there is an USB port and a WLAN interface. Thanks to the standardized radio control interface, trouble free operation of your layout can be assured at any time. The range can be extended with WLAN repeaters, if necessary.
Due to the open platform design you may add further apps for the Google Play Store at any time.

Signal Extension Cable - All Scales Signal System Short - 12inch 30.5cm
Universal Signal Control Board - All Scales Signal System
The Atlas Universal Signal Control Board is the heart of the All-Scales Signal System circuitry. This plug-and-play system supports both common-anode or common-cathode signals giving you the capability of modeling a variety of different prototypical scenarios.
- Stand Alone Operation - in this case a single signal runs independently of other signals, and displays appropriate aspects, such as red - yellow - green, in a timed manner.
- Integrated ABS Block Signaling - Connecting a number of Signal Control Boards together in a daisy chain fashion enables you to represent a prototypical block signal system, where the occupancy of the blocks ahead and behind your train determines the aspects displayed by the signals. The number of blocks is controlled by a simple jumper setting on each signal control board.
- Approach-Only Signaling - To better support prototypes whose signals do not illuminate until a train is nearby, the Signal Control Board has a setting to enable this behavior.
- Flashing Aspects - On some railroads, in order to increase the number of indications available to train crews, such as intermediate restrictions, certain flashing aspects are used. These aspects are now supported with flashing yellow and green options, and are automatically enabled for certain prototypes by a single jumper setting.
- Complex and Interlocking Signaling - In combination with our new Interlock Control Module, simple turnout indication or complex route-based signaling is possible.
- Manual Control - Full control of signal aspect for Red, Yellow, Flashing Yellow, Flashing Green (with appropriate auto return to Green) is available for those wishing to create the ultimate in CTC-like systems.

LokSound 5 Nano DCC -Blank decoder
With the LokSound 5 Nano DCC, ESU has succeeded in developing an even smaller LokSound decoder: With only 19.6 mm x 8.5 mm x 3.2 mm, it is the smallest LokSound decoder we have ever built. Thus, it should really be used in all vehicles of nominal sizes N and TT.
The LokSound 5 Nano DCC decoder is a pure DCC decoder with open
cable ends for free wiring. The LokSound 5 Nano DCC is made for the North American and Australian markets. It is a pure DCC Decoder, which supports RailComPlus and can also be used on DC layouts. Please note the LokSound 5 Nano DCC decoder does not come with a speaker.
Modes
The LokSound 5 Nano is a pure-bred DCC decoder. 14 to 128 driving steps are as self-evident as 2- and 4-digit addresses. Up to 32 functions can be triggered. Thanks to RailComPlus, the decoders register fully automatically at a suitable digital center. It masters all DCC programming modes and thanks to RailCom the CV values can be read out on the main track with suitable control panels. Auxiliary registers exist for control panels that can only program the CVs from 1-255.
The LokSound 5 Nano Decoder detects the Marklin brake distances as well as ZIMO HLU / ZACK commands or the Lenz ABC system. Braking with DCC brake blocks or with equal voltage is also possible. In addition, it also stops with a Selectrix brake diode. An automatic ABC pen train allows automatic commuting between two stations.
The LokSound 5 Nano can be used on analog DC webs.
The decoder switches on-the-fly fully automatically between operating modes. Most of the time, nothing needs to be adjusted.
Sound
The LokSound 5 Nano Decoder can play up to 12 channels simultaneously. Each channel can be resolved with up to 16 bits / 31250 kHz and offers hi-fi quality on your system. There is virtually no difference to the original audible anymore. A Class-D audio output with up to 3W output power controls the speakers, which may have between 4 ohms and 32 ohms impedance. A 128 Mbit sound memory provides enough capacity. All individual noises can be adjusted individually in the volume. The super-flexible sound engine without a rigid schedule allows the exemplary simulation of all conceivable rail tracks.
Functions
Despite its small size, the LokSound 5 Nano has 6 reinforced function outputs as well as a logic level output as a solder pad. All important lighting functions are available. The brightness of each output can be set separately. The decoder controls the automatic start-up and disconnection when uncoupling for ROCO, Krois and Marklin telex couplings.

ESU 53900 Decoder Tester - New Version - for makes and models of any manufactures decoders
In order to make things as easy as possible for you, the Profi Decoder Tester is equipped with some useful features. It has all commonly used interface sockets for connecting a decoder for the smaller scale models:
Besides a 6-pole NEM 651 socket and the 8-pole NEM 652 socket, it also has an 21MTC interface as per NEM 660, a PluX22 socket as well as a Next18 interface: No matter which type of decoder you have: Simply plug it in – it will fit! And that’s all there is to it!
Decoders without any interface can be contacted with individual terminals.
A quality coreless motor with flywheel serves in conjunction with LEDs indicating the direction for checking the motor output: Thus it is quite easy to check on the low speed performance and the even speed of the decoder. An LED monitor informs you about the functioning of the headlights and back-up lights as well as the function outputs AUX1 through AUX6.
For testing LokSound decoders we have integrated a 20 mm speaker. You may choose if the integral speaker should be switched off or if it should have 100 Ohm respectively 16 Ohm – thus the Decoder Tester is perfectly suitable for any ESU decoder generation and other decoder manufactorys.
Two SUSI plugs facilitate the direct test of optional SUSI modules as well as the connection to another circuit board.
The electrical connection to either the command station or the LokProgrammer is facilitated by a removable, 2-pole terminal block (same system as used on the LokProgrammer and the ECoS) or via two solder points.
Mobile Control II - Throttle, Lanyard, USB-Cable
Product Features and Details
Mobile Control II wireless hand controllers set for ECoS, DE / EN. With wrist strap, USB charging cable
Since smartphones have the classic mobile phone virtually completely displaced with touch controls to model railroaders and train manufacturers Model ask how to use these powerful devices for controlling a model railroad layout. As a result of these issues emerged lately many apps that you can download on his mobile phone and control for model railway use. This approach certainly has the disadvantage that a smartphone was not primarily designed for model railroad operation and is always drawn due to lack of input elements of the views of model railroaders on display. By the time goes on strike due to intensive Bahnbetriebs the phone battery and one is no longer accessible, the limits are quickly apparent. We at ESU us therefore raised the question of how to combine the advantages of smart phone technology with the needs of model railroaders. With great pleasure we introduce the result of our considerations you today. The Mobile Control II you can control locos, stationary decoders and routes via state radio!
Open platform
The all-new Mobile Control II is based on Android. For this open, distributed worldwide operating system a powerful base was created: The clocked with 1.3 GHz ARM A8 Cortex microprocessor can access 1 GB of RAM and controls a high-resolution TFT color display with 3.2 inch size. For storing apps and data are available 4 GB of flash memory available. A capacitive touch screen ensures the contactless entry of all data. To communicate with the outside world in addition to a USB port provides a wireless radio interface. Thanks to the standardized radio interface can always be assured your layout trouble-free operation. With the help of wireless repeaters can be easily extended if necessary radio range. The permanently installed, high-performance lithium polymer battery lets loose even on the longest days of operation. Connect to load your Mobile Control II easy with the USB charger of your mobile phone or any other USB port. Because of the open platform, you can always expand with the help of additional apps from the Google Play Store the functions.
Combines ergonomics and function
If you II hold the Mobile Control for the first time in his hands, you will immediately notice its outstanding ergonomics: all controls can be reached with one hand immediately, the most important functions even -blind-: Her eyes remain focused on your plant and your moves. Made possible by the central, motorized knobs with end stop. With its help, you can sensitively control the speed of the locomotive and change the driving direction. For switching functions directly touching the icons displayed on the screen. The screen is also used for easy change of functions - exactly like you know it from your phone already. Two buttons on the left and right side of the device eventually serve for switching the driving direction or to trigger the most important functions.
Interaction
The Mobile Control II is perfect for working with the ECoS command stations tuned: The ECoS synchronizes all data with the wireless handheld controller, so you need to enter any data locally. For magnetic and routes also the names, addresses and correct symbols are displayed naturally.
Control locomotives
The Mobile Control II can control all created in the ECoS locomotives and understands course 14, 28 or 128 speed steps. All significant Lokeigenschaften as the name, a locomotive symbol, Function Keys and Function Keys symbols are taken over by the ECoS and displayed correctly. In this case up to 28 function keys can be connected per locomotive, which can of course be individually configured as static as well as moment features.
Switch accessories
All arranged on the interlocking of ECoS accessory and driveways can be switched. Of course, the distinction remains in two- three and four magnetic accessories received and it is also the correct symbol appears on the display.
More fun at play
The high-resolution (480 x 800 pixels, 280 dpi), backlit TFT display of the Mobile Control II you always informed about the most important operating parameters. In addition you can see if a loco was assigned by another player or if an emergency stop on the plant.
Clever connection
The Mobile Control II uses the wireless standard for communication with the ECoS. You must therefore connect the panel to a WLAN. If you already own a wireless router (eg AVM FritzBox, you can connect to this ECoS easily. The ECoS and the Mobile Control II will be found automatically. Do you want your model railway not connect to your home network and you want to remain flexible for exhibitions, this is also not a problem: Upon request we provide for the Mobile Control II a mini access point with which easily using the ECoS in a few steps set up is. If your model railroad grows, you can connect up to 16 Mobile Control II with your ECoS. In this way, for example, every club member is able to control its intended locomotive
ESU 54671 PowerPack Mini
for LokPilot V4.0, LokSound V4.0 family, LokSound Select Family, LokSound 5 family 1F/2.7V
The new ESU PowerPack Mini can be wired to all fourth and fifth generation ESU decoders. It reliably supplies energy to your locomotive when traversing dirty track or long turnout ladders.
With its energy storage (1 Farad capacity) the unit supplies power to all light and motor functions as well as to the sound module. Subject to the energy consumption of your model it may continue to move for up to three seconds.
The PowerPack Mini incorporates an integral charging circuit controlled by the decoder. Therefore it may be connected even during programming. In order to avoid an undue load on the booster in case there are several models in the same booster sector, the charging current is limited.
The buffer time can be reduced by means of a CV. This may be useful to assure the correct stopping position ahead of signals showing the Stop aspect (red signal).
Although it is considerably smaller than its predecessor, the space requirements of the PowerPack Mini of about 15.7 mm x 9.7 mm x 13 mm must be taken into account when installing this unit.
A three-pole wire harness connects the PowerPack Mini to the decoder. The wires are already soldered to the PowerPack Mini and must be soldered to the appropriate solder pads of the decoder.

It provides uninterrupted power to your locomotive when traversing dirty track and long turnout ladders. All sound, lighting and motor functions are buffered with the aid of two energy storage capacitors enabling your models – subject to the total energy consumption - to continue running for up to three seconds.
The PowerPack Maxi incorporates an integral charging circuit controlled by the decoder. Therefore it may be connected even during programming. The charging current is limited in order to avoid an undue load on the booster, in case there are several models in the same booster sector.
The buffer time can be reduced by means of a CV. This may be useful to assure the correct stopping position ahead of signals showing the Stop aspect (red signal).
The space requirements of the PowerPack Maxi of about 27.5 mm x 15.7 mm x 13 mm must be taken into account when installing this unit.
A three-pole wire harness connects the PowerPack Maxi to the decoder. The wires are already soldered to the PowerPack Maxi but must be soldered to the appropriate solder pads of the decoder.
Please note that due to technical reasons the PowerPack cannot operate in analogue mode: Buffering is therefore not possible in analogue mode.

TrainSpotter with Right-Angle Sensor
The TrainSpotter makes detection of locomotives or rolling stock easy and reliable. Just place the sensor where its invisible light beam will reflect off the object of interest and you are done - no time-consuming or frustrating adjustments! Based on modern silicon technology, this reflective infrared proximity sensor is tolerant of ambient (background) lighting conditions, be it completely dark or under full lights, with no false triggering.
This version features a right angle mounted sensor, sensing objects next to the PCB. This allows the sensor to be mounted next to the track and detect things beside it, avoiding the need to drill up through the ties.
FEATURES:
- Small size (0.25 x 2.25 inches)
- Right-angle sensor (instead of end-mounted) for simple, next-to-track installation
- No adjustment needed!
- Release time of zero or 5 seconds (solder jumper)
- Two opposite polarity, open-collector outputs (40V / 250mA capable)
- Tolerant of ambient (background) lighting conditions - no false triggering
- 24 inch pre-stripped wire leads attached to the sensor
- Powered from 5V to 24VDC
Typical Applications:
- Activate grade crossing signals
- Trigger sounds
- Build an automatic interchange
- Indicate end-of-track in hidden staging yards
- Detect block occupancy for signal systems
- C/MRI track occupancy inputs
Installation:
The detector is designed to be installed up through the benchwork in a 3/8 inch (10 mm) hole. Because the sensor itself is so small, only a single hole is required and no complicated drilling jigs are needed. The sensor can be secured in the hole using a variety of methods such as hot glue or by using a bracket.
Electrical Connections:
The CKT-IRSENSE needs 5 to 24 volts of clean direct current (DC) power to operate. Two opposite polarity outputs are provided, both of which are open drain (otherwise known as open collector) and act like a switch to the ground or negative lead.
Logic level outputs can be generated by connecting a resistor to pull up the output to the positive supply. Other devices, such as LEDs or relays can also be driven directly and the outputs from multiple sensors can be connected in parallel to combine them into one signal.
Specifications:
2.25(L) x 0.25(W) x 0.25(H) inches
By default, the release time is zero, but can be set to 5 seconds by shorting two pads (JP1) on the back of board.
The sensing distance varies with the reflectivity of the object being sensed, but is typically 1.5 inches.

LokPilot 5 DCC - 8-pin NEM652 - HO & O Gauge
The LokPilot 5 DCC is the twin brother of the LokPilot 5. The two share almost all characteristics, however, the LokPilot 5 DCC is a pure DCC decoder and cannot be used on analog AC systems. This lack of flexibility comes with a cheaper price.
LokPilot 5 decoders are offered with all common interfaces.
Modes:
The LokPilot 5 DCC is a pure-bred DCC decoder. 14 to 128 speed steps are as natural as 2- and 4-digit addresses. Up to 32 functions can be triggered. Thanks to RailComPlus the decoders register automatically with a suitable DCC system like the ESU CabControl.
The decoder accepts all DCC programming modes and thanks to RailCom the CV values can be read on the main track with RailCom equipped DCC systems. For command stations that only program the CVs from 1-255 auxiliary CV registers exist.
The LokPilot 5 DCC decoder recognizes the Marklin braking sections as well as the ZIMO HLU / ZACKCommands or the Lenz ABC system. Also braking with DCC brake modules or with DC voltages possible. It also stops with a Selectrix brake diode. An ABC automatic shuttle train enables automatic commuting between two train stations.
The LokPilot 5 DCC decoder can be used on analog DC trains. The top speed can be set separately.
The decoder switches between the operating modes fully automatically -on-the-fly-.
Features:
We know that you want your locomotives to be as realistic as possible. Therefore we have the LokPilot 5DCC packed with function outputs. Depending on the interface version, each LokPilot offers 5 DCC Decoder at least 10 amplified function outputs with 250mA output current each. In the executions with PluX22 or 21MTC interface there are 4 outputs to control servos or Logic level outputs added. All-important lighting functions are available. The brightness of each output can be set separately. The decoder masters automatic pushing and pulling when uncoupling for ROCO, Krois and Telex couplings.
Motor control:
The engine control of the LokPilot 5 DCC has been fundamentally improved again. A variably adjustable PWM clock frequency from 10kHz to 50kHz ensures super quiet operation, especially with bell-armature motors.
Operation:
The typical hum is a thing of the past. The load control now has up to10 CVs which can be adjusted for difficult cases. The unique Auto tune function enablesnthe automatic calibration of the decoder to the motor. The LokPilot 5 DCC decoder delivers up to 1.5A of motor current. Enough juice even for older motors.
Operational safety:
On request, a PowerPack can be fitted to the LokPilot 5 DCC to bridge dirty rail sections.

SCB Interconnect Cable Connector (Short) - All Scales Signal System
HO Signal - Modern Cantilever Bridge (2 Track, 4 Head-Left)
There is no single model railroad accessory that captures the essence of prototypical railroading more than an operating signal system. Whether standalone or as part of an integrated system, a working signal adds both visual and operational interest to your railroad.
The Atlas All Scales Signal System enables you to provide realistic information to your train crews in a simple, yet expandable way. Our growing line of signal heads, masts, and bridges spans most common modeling eras, and are easy to install on your layout. The signals feature true scale dimensions and details, and are available in single and double head arrangements, as well as several multi-track bridge configurations. Regardless of scale, all Atlas signals now utilize a small standardized connector and separate cable to connect to the signal control boards, minimizing the impact of installation on a layout with existing scenery.
The Signal Control Board can operate standalone, or as part of an integrated system to replicate the behavior of many North American prototypes, providing selectable 2 or 3 block (ABS) operation, flashing aspects, approach-only, and PRR and color position light options. It can drive either common cathode or common anode signals, and can be powered by AC or DC. The system can be used on layouts operating on either analog (DC or AC) or Digital Command Control (DCC) power through the use of appropriate block detectors (not available from Atlas), and can also be manually controlled.

ESU 50210 ECoS 2.1 DCC Command Station,
Full Color Display, MM/DCC/SX/M4, Set including power supply input 90-240V, output 6A / 15V-21V, 150W power supply, German /English manual
The ECoS 50210 is already the second generation of our successful ECoS command station. With the latest ECoS command station, ESU continues to offer state-of-the-art digital technology combined with contemporary functional range and easy handling all this for a fair price-performance ratio.
The ECoS has - like most of the recent central stations - a large coloured display with high resolution. In combination with its ground-breaking and easily operated user interface and excellent contrast values of the coloured screen, ECoS reaches unprecedented ergonomics: unlike all the other central stations, the ECoS can be also operated without a stylus - all symbols and writings are hugely marked and clearly structured.
ECoS has 9 function keys per integrated cab. The light-, and function keys 1 to 8 show the current state of the function via LEDs.
Discover the fascinating possibilities of the ECoS command station on the following pages. But take heed: ECoS performance is so good, that even we had to re-read a few passages to believe it!

ECoSBoost 7A, MM/DCC/SX/M4, set w/ power supply 120-240V, EURO + US, manual german/English
Indispensable components of any large model railroad are amplifiers (here called Booster): If the power consumption of all of your moving trains including their functions, car illumination, and function models is larger than the current the central station is able to put out, you have to split up your layout into several blocks, the power for which is supplied by their own booster. The ECoSBoost(er) is designed for precisely that task: It is matched perfectly for the use with our ESU ECoS or the Märklin® central station.
MODE OF OPERATIONS:
The ECoSBoost is connected directly to the ECoSlink jack, from where it gets its control signals. Basically it is capable of amplifying and delivering to the track these data formats: DCC, Motorola, Selectrix® and mfx®. Which data format will be put out in a given case, depends of course entirely upon the command station thats being used, and its capabilities: Therefore the booster, connected to an ESU ECoS, will handle DCC, and Selectrix®, while, if attached to a Marklin® central station, it will amplify and deliver Motorola®-, respectively mfx® data signals. Thanks to Plug&Play, all ECoSBoost(ers) are included automatically into a list of extern ECoSlink components, and can be controlled and configured centrally on the ECoS display.
The correct firmware status is essential to make the ECoSBoost work properly with these command stations: If the interior software is too old, the booster will possibly not be recognized. Please check the system requirements.
FUNCTIONS:
ECoSBoost amplifies data signals generated by the digital central station, and delivers them to the designated track outlet. ECoSBoost power comes from an included power supply, featuring a stabilized DC output. Each ECoSBoost is controlled and configured comfortably directly by the ECoS: For each booster you can individually determine its max permissible output current. Whats more, the display can be dialled up to show you the present power consumption of each booster, so you know how much reserves you still got. Extremely sensible is the option to tell each booster individually, weather or not to shut down its section in case of a layout short circuit. For example, if you have your switch (turnout) decoders hooked up to a separate ECoSBoost, you can still control your switches reliably in case of a track short.
FEEDBACK:
An ECoSBoost can do more than amplify and deliver track current: Each one has incorporated, as a standard feature, a feed back function (Global Detector) for the NMRA Bidirectional Communication. With its help, appropriately equipped locos can send back information to the ECoS, as soon as the relevant DCC – norm is adopted. This is immensely helpful in finding the locos position on the layout, or reading out engine data. ECoSBoost reads the data and sends them via the ECoSlink high speed bus to ECoS for further processing.
PROTECTION:
Each ECoSBoost of course meets the relevant requirements regarding safety and operation on a layout: The track outlet is protected against overload as well as short circuits. Of course ECoSBoost can differentiate between a genuine short, and a momentary current drain when passing over switches or gaps. We place value on the indestructibility of the device, just like we do with our mobile decoders.
FUTURE BUILT-IN:
The operational software of each, in an ECoSBoost integrated micro controller can be updated, of course, if need be, and augmented by additional functions: The required upgrade is performed automatically bythe ECoS central station, if necessary. No action on your part is required! In this way your ECoSBoost is literally always up to date!

N, TT, HO Scale LokSound 5 Micro DCC/MM/SX/M4 - Next18 Decoder
(SPEAKER AND ENCLOSURE SOLD SEPARATELY!)
Note - If you want sound installed it the decoder, write the sound file number or the locomotive you are putting it into, in the customer comments section at the check out.
For Gauge: N, HO, & TT
The LokSound 5 micro is a little wonder: With only 21mmx10mm footprint, it is by far one of the smallest LokSound decoders we have ever built. Thus it should fit into all N gauge and TT vehicles, but is also suitable for small HO vehicles. All LokSound decoders are equipped with a Next18 interface and are available with adapter plugs to suit all popular digital interface types.
The LokSound 5 micro DCC is made for the North American and Australian markets. It is a pure DCC Decoder, which supports RailComPlus and can also be used on DC layouts.
Operating modes:
The LokSound 5 micro is a true multi protocol decoder. It supports DCC as well as Motorola, Selectrix and M4. Of course it supports 14 through to 128 speed steps as well as 2 and 4 digit addresses in DCC format and up to 32 functions. Thanks to RailComPlus the decoders register themselves fully automatically on suitable command stations.
This decoder supports all DCC programming modes and thanks to RailCom, you may read out the CV values on the main, provided you have a command station supporting RailCom. There are utility registers for command stations that only facilitate programming of CVs ranging from 1 to 255.
Motorola users benefit from up to 28 speed steps for 255 addresses. Three additional Motorola addresses facilitate triggering of 16 functions. An integral programming mode even allows programming with the good old Control Unit 6021.
The M4 protocol supports the automatic registration on mfx compatible central units.
The LokSound decoder supports the Marklin braking sections just as well as the ZIMO HLU braking commands or the Lenz ABC system. Braking with DCC brake generators or with DC is also possible. Furthermore the locomotive with a LokSound will come to a halt when a Selectrix braking diode is switched into the circuit. The ABC push-pull feature enables the automatic commuting between two stations.
The LokSound 5 micro decoder is also suitable for analogue DC and AC (!) layouts.
Sound:
The LokSound 5 micro decoder can reproduce up to 10 channels simultaneously. Each channel offers up to 16 Bit / 31250 kHz and thus we have finally achieved hi-fi sound quality on your layout. For all practical purposes one cannot detect any difference to the original. A double class D audio power amplifier with up to 3W output power feeds the speakers with a permitted impedance of 4 ? 32 Ohms. The huge 128 MBit sound memory assures sufficient storage capacity.
The volume of all individual sound fragments may be adjusted separately. The outstandingly flexible sound engine without a rigid flow chart facilitates a prototypical simulation of all conceivable rail vehicles. Three separately adjustable braking functions and two alternative load scenarios provide you with maximum control of your vehicles.
Functions:
Despite its small dimensions, the LokSound 5 micro decoder has at least 6 amplified function outputs as well as one logic output. There are two more logic outputs on the Next18 interface, which alternately may be employed to control RC servos. Of course, all important lighting functions are supported. The brightness of each output may be adjusted separately. The decoder supports the automatic push and pull movements ? known as the coupler waltz - required for reliable operation of digital couplers such as the ones by ROCO and Krois, as well as Telex couplers.
Motor control:
Motor control of the LokSound 5 micro has been further improved. A variable PWM pulse frequency ranging from 10 kHz to 50 kHz assures perfect silent operation, particularly for coreless motors. Thus the typical hum is a thing of the past. Load control can now be adjusted with up to 10 separate CVs and thus will manage even the most difficult cases. The unique Auto Tune function facilitates the automatic calibration of the decoder to perfectly match the motor. The LokSound 5 micro decoder supplies sufficient motor current (up to 0.75 A) for the intended applications.
LokSound 5 micro DCC:
The LokSound 5 Micro DCC is made for the North American and Australian markets. It is a pure DCC Decoder, which supports RailComPlus and can also be used on DC layouts.

Power Cab DCC Starter System - 2 Amps
An entire DCC system in the palm of your hand! The Power Cab system can operate one or two HO locomotives. Installation is a snap. Hook two wires to your track and plug in the cab. Then you are off and running trains!
The Power Cab kit contains:
- Power Cab
- 7ft Power Cab Cable
- PCP Power Panel
- Power Supply
- Pro Cab Coiled Cord
- Manual
The Power Cab represents an Entry Level starter system for small layouts but has all the same features as the high end 5 amp PH-Pro. Its limitations are found in the number of expansion options it can connect to and support.
The PowerCab is well-liked because it is a full featured NCE DCC system with a true programming track output capability designed to handle Sound Decoders without any programming issues. Some people with a 5 and 10 amp PH-Pro system purchase a Power Cab system for the full programming track capability and to add an additional throttle for the layout.
The Power Cab offers the best Programming Track capability of all the NCE systems. It offers a safe low current programming track output mode where it is safe to test decoders. At the same time, the programming track current from the Power Cab has been raised enough to accommodate the special needs of sound decoders which can have problems working properly with older style programming track outputs. No 3rd party programming track booster is required when using a Power Cab.
Up to 256 turnouts can be DCC controlled using DCC accessory turnout decoders. They can be controlled from the PowerCab throttle or any NCE throttle with an accessory control button.
The Power Cab allows you to add up to 3 NCE cab bus based accessory devices to the system using 3 special cab addresses. This does NOT take away from the number of throttles [6] you can use with the Power Cab system.
2-Amp 12-Volt Filtered DC Power Supply - Walthers Layout Control System

The system is expandable at any time to grow with your layout, and can be used with DCC- or DC-power (a DCC accessory decoder is integrated into the switch machine). The system uses plug-and-play servo-style wiring with connectors, so no soldering is needed; two styles of cables are available separately to expand your wiring as needed. User-friendly instructions are included with all items, and drilling templates for easy mounting on your layout or fascia are included as appropriate. Using combinations of the system components, which include a servo-based slow-motion Switch Machine, Power Distribution Block, LED panel indicator/control pushbutton switches, add-on system cabling, a 2-amp 12V Filtered DC Power Supply and a three-piece drill set, you can easily build a complete control system.

Adapter Board 21MTC to 9-Pin JST (for Athearn locomotives)
Perfect for Athearn (and others) this new 9 pin (female) 21MTC (Male) adaptor board allows the popular 6 output ESU 21 MTC LokSound and LokPilot decoders to be easily added to your favorite locomotive.
More Functions:
More and more locomotives now have front and rear headlights and front and rear flashing ditch lights. In order to accommodate for this in DCC 6 function outputs need to be used. As 8 and 9 pin DCC plugs only allow for 3 and 4 outputs respectively, this new adaptor board will allow easy conversion to our 6 function decoders. 4 Outputs though the 9 pin plug and 2 more on solder pads.
1.5 Volt Lighting:
As Athearn normally uses 1.5 volt bulbs it is often easier to use the supplied resistance in the Motherboards for those lights. This new adaptor board also includes 1.5 volt light resistance for the additional 2 outputs that do not already go through the 9 pin JST plug. ESU decoders also include the ability to dim the outputs to match perfectly the onboard resistance with the adaptor resistance if needed. There are also solder bridges for bypassing this resistance if bulbs are not used.
In addition there are extra common pads and solder pads for speakers directly on the adaptor board.
Adding Great DCC and Sound with all the proper lighting has never been so easy.

The TrainSpotter makes detection of locomotives or rolling stock easy and reliable. Just place the sensor where its invisible light beam will reflect off the object of interest and you're done - no time-consuming or frustrating adjustments! Based on modern silicon technology, this reflective infrared proximity sensor is tolerant of ambient (background) lighting conditions, be it completely dark or under full lights, with no false triggering. Combined with a discrete under-track installation, this low-profile sensor solves many of the challenges that plague other optical detector products.
FEATURES:
- Small size (0.25 x 2.25 inches)
- Simple, discrete under-track installation

LokPilot 5 Basic 8 Pin NEM652 Decoder
While LokPilot 5 decoders can undoubtedly meet all imaginable requirements of even the most demanding experts, many model railway eras are looking for a robust, high-quality DCC decoder for your standard requirements, which should also be affordable.
The LokPilot 5 Basic was developed with the aim of offering a modern decoder with a reasonable range of functions at a reasonable price.
The LokPilot 5 Basic comes in two versions: In addition to a version with an 8-pin NEM interface, a version with 21MTC interface is also available. This makes the LokPilot 5 Basic particularly suitable for use in track H0 vehicles.
Modes
The LokPilot 5 Basic is a pure-bred DCC decoder. 14 to 128 driving steps are as self-evident as 2- and 4-digit addresses. Up to 20 functions can be triggered. Thanks to RailComPlus (R), the decoders log in fully automatically to a suitable digital center.
It masters all DCC programming modes and thanks to RailCom(R) the CV values can be read out on the main track with suitable control panels. Auxiliary registers exist for control panels that can only program the CVs from 1-255.
The LokPilot 5 Basic Decoder detects the Marklin(R) brake distances as well as the Lenz(R) ABC system. Braking with DCC brake blocks or dc voltage is also possible. The LokPilot 5 Basic Decoder can be used on analog DC webs. The maximum speed can be set separately. The decoder switches on-the-fly fully automatically between operating modes. Most of the time, nothing needs to be adjusted.
Functions
The LokPilot 5 Basic has 4 reinforced function outputs in each version. In the 21MTC interface, there are 8 logic-level outputs at the interface, two of which are also suitable for controlling servos. All important lighting functions are available. The brightness of each output can be set separately.
Motor
The motor control of the LokPilot 5 Basic delivers up to 0.9A continuous current. A variable PWM clock frequency from 10kHz to 50kHz ensures super-quiet operation, especially for bell anchor motors ? The typical hum is a thing of the past. The load control can be adapted to difficult cases with up to 10 CVs. The unique Autotune function allows the decoder to be automatically measured against the motor.
Operational reliability
On request, a PowerPack can be connected to the LokPilot 5 Basic to bridge dirty rail cuts

For Gauge: N, HO, & HOn3
21mm x 10mm (0.827 x 0.394 inch)
The LokSound 5 DCC Micro has an NMRA 8-pin Plug [via adapter Next18 to 8-Pin Plug] and can be plugged into a circuit board with an NMRA 8 pin female receptacle. With a footprint of 21mm x 10 mm it is one of the smallest full-featured sound decoders available. The V5 DCC Micro is also suitable for H0 locomotives where space is an issue. LokSound V5 DCC Micro decoders are equipped with a Next18 interface and are available with adapter plugs to suit all popular digital interface types.
Consult your locomotive manual to determine the appropriate type of decoder.
Operating Modes:
The V5 decoder supports all DCC programming modes! There are utility registers for command stations that only facilitate programming of CVs ranging from 1 to 255.
The LokSound 5 decoder supports the Märklin® braking sections, ZIMO® HLU braking commands or the Lenz® ABC system. Braking with DCC brake generators or with DC is also possible. The locomotive with a LokSound 5 decoder will also come to a halt when a Selectrix® braking diode is switched into the circuit. The ABC push-pull feature enables the automatic commuting between two stations.
The LokSound 5 decoder is suitable for analog DC operation, AC and DCC command control.
Sound:
The LokSound V5 decoder can reproduce up to 10 channels simultaneously. Each channel offers up to 16 Bit / 31250 kHz and for all practical purposes, one cannot detect any difference to the original. A dual class D audio power amplifier with 3W output power feeds the speakers with a permitted impedance of 4 – 32 Ohms. The huge 128 MBit sound memory assures sufficient storage capacity.
The volume of all individual sound fragments may be adjusted separately. The outstandingly flexible sound engine without a rigid flow chart facilitates a prototypical simulation of all conceivable rail movements. Three separately adjustable braking functions and two alternative load scenarios provide you with maximum control of your locomotives.
Functions:
Subject to the type of interface, every LokSound V5 Micro has at least 6 amplified outputs as well as one logic output with multiple lighting functions available. The brightness of each output may be adjusted separately.
Motor control:
The LokSound V5 Micro decoder supplies up to 0.75A motor current and motor control has been improved. A variable PWM pulse frequency ranging from 10 kHz to 50 kHz results in silent operation, particularly for coreless motors making motor hum a thing of the past. Load control can now be adjusted with up to 10 separate CVs and will manage even the most difficult motor control issues. The unique Auto-Tune function facilitates the automatic calibration of the decoder to perfectly match the motor.

Depending on the interface version, each LokPilot 5 decoder offers at least 10 amplified function outputs with 250mA output current each. In the versions with PluX22 or 21MTC interface, 4 outputs are added to control servos or logic level outputs. All important lighting functions are available. The brightness of each output can be set separately. The decoder masters the automatic pressing and detaching when uncoupling for ROCO®, Krois® and Telex® couplings.
MOTOR CONTROL:
The engine control of the LokPilot 5 has been fundamentally improved again. A variably adjustable PWM clock frequency from 10kHz to 50kHz ensures super quiet operation, especially with bell-armature motors - the typical hum is a thing of the past. The load control can now be adapted to difficult cases with up to 10 CVs. The unique Autotune function enables the decoder to be automatically calibrated to the motor. With up to 1.5A motor current, the LokPilot 5 decoder provides enough juice even for older motors.
OPERATIONAL SAFETY:
On request, a PowerPack can be connected to the LokPilot 5 to bridge dirty rail sections.
PROTECTION:
Of course, all function outputs and the motor output are protected against overload. We want you to enjoy your decoder for as long as possible.
NixTrainz Decoder Buddy V5
The V5 has 12 Aux outputs for lights. Twelve are present on the small connector board and two are paired to the motherboard and associated with the frame. The track and speaker pads stayed the same size. The pads on the small connector board got a little smaller. These pads are all separated and have holes to help hold the wires. The stay alive pads moved to the other side of the motherboard out from under the decoder and are in an easy place to solder to like the original. From a little closer to the situation than I used to be, I might say a Steam / Diesel split might align with the two Decoder Buddys as well as a 1997 date split between the two due to ditch light requirements by the FRA. Both are exactly the same size. You get to make the choice! Fortunately both Decoder Buddys have been accepted by both installers and modelers.

LokSound 5 Fx DCC/MM/SX/M4 Blank Decoder 21MTC NEM660 with Speaker
Note: Please write in the customer notes if you want a sound file programmed and with the locomotive description and/or ESU Sound File Number.
The LokSound 5 Fx is a special feature of the LokSound family: it has no output and is specially designed for use in control cars or drive heads, which require a sound but do not have a model drive themselves. By omitting the engine part, it can still offer all the sound features of the other LokSound 5 members on a size of only 21.5mm x 15.5mm.
LokSound 5 Fx decoders are offered with an 8-pole interface according to NEM652 or a 21MTC cutting point and always come with an 11 x 15 mm sugar cube loudspeaker and sound capsule kit.
Modes:
Like all family members, the LokSound 5 Fx is a true multi-protocol decoder. It masters the DCC data format as well as Motorola(R), Selectrix(R) and M4. In DCC format, 14 to 128 driving steps are as self-evident as 2- and 4-digit addresses and up to 32 functions. With the help of RailComPlus(R) technology, the decoders register fully automatically at a suitable digital center.
It masters all DCC programming modes and can be both driven and programmed with compatible digital centers: Thanks to RailCom(R), it is possible to read out the CV values on the main track with suitable control panels. Auxiliary registers exist for control panels that can only program the CVs from 1-255.
Motorola(R) users benefit from up to 28 driving steps at 255 addresses. Three additional Motorola(R) addresses enable the triggering of 16 functions. A built-in programming mode also makes reprogramming possible with the venerable Control Unit 6021.The M4 protocol allows automatic login to mfx(R)-compatible control panels.
The LokSound 5 Fx Decoder detects the Marklin(R) brake distances as well as ZIMO(R) HLU brake commands or the Lenz(R) ABC system. Also the brakes with DCC brake blocks or with DC voltages possible. It also stops with a Selectrix(R) brake diode. An ABC commuter train system allows automatic commuting between two stations.
The LokSound 5 decoder can be used on analog DC and AC webs.
The decoder switches on-the-fly fully automatically between operating modes. Most of the time, nothing needs to be adjusted.
Sound:
The LokSound 5 Fx decoder can play up to 12 channels simultaneously. Each channel can be resolved with up to 16 bits / 31250 kHz and offers hi-fi quality on your system. There is virtually no difference to the original audible anymore. A Class-D audio output stage with up to 3W output controls the speakers, which may have between 4 ohms and 32 ohms impedance. A 128 Mbit sound memory provides enough capacity.
All individual noises can be adjusted individually in the volume. The super-flexible sound gine without a rigid schedule allows the exemplary simulation of all conceivable rail vehicles.
Functions:
There are also some lights to turn on in the control car or drive head. Thats why we have equipped the LokSound 5 Fx with 6 reinforced function outputs. In the version with 21MTC interface, 6 outputs are added for controlling servos or logic level outputs. All important lighting functions are available. The brightness of each output can be set separately.
Motor:
Although the LokSound 5 Fx itself does not have an engine output, it still simulates one. This is used for synchronization with the motor car, where ideally a full-fledged LokSound 5 decoder performs its service. In the train bandage, this ensures that the brake squeak takes place at the same time or that the lamps also switch the direction of travel at the same time.
Operational reliability:
A PowerPack can be connected to the LokSound 5 micro DCC Direct Kato USA on request to bridge dirty rail section.

HO/N 1 Amp SoundFX & Function Decoder
Features:
Wired Mobile Decoder with SoundFX & FX3 Function for most HO and many N scale Locomotives.
Preloaded with selectable generic steam and diesel sound schemes.
Visit Digitrax Sound Depot to learn how to customize the sound project that is included with the decoder and how to download different sound projects.
Includes 28mm 8 Ohm Speaker & 330uF Capacitor
Please Note: The SFX0416 has no motor functions and is used in conjunction with a standard mobile decoder to add sound and additional functions to the locomotive.
Regarding N Scale applications:
Although the SFX0416 decoder PCB is physically small enough to fit into many types of N Scale rolling stock and dummy locomotives, for N Scale applications the standard 28mm speaker must be replaced with a smaller speaker and installation of the capacitor can be omitted.
Finally, the SFX0416 is an add-on type SoundFX decoder, meaning it works with a standard DCC motor decoder in locomotive applications. N-Scale locomotives generally do not have the necessary space for both the SFX0416 and a motor decoder inside the locomotive. To use this sound and function decoder as an add on to an existing mobile decoder in an N Scale locomotive, you can install it in an N Scale car that runs behind the locomotive. If you are installing a sound decoder in a locomotive that does not already have a mobile decoder, one of our N Scale motor, sound & function decoders would be the best choice for N scale locomotive installations.

UTP Panel Cab Bus Fascia Panel w/RJ12 Plugs
FEATURES:
The UTP cab bus panel provides a low cost means of adding walk around capability to your layout. The panel has 4 RJ-12 connectors wired in parallel, two on the front and two on the rear. Your cab bus can be daisy-chained from one panel to the next using the rear connectors. One or two cabs can then be plugged in to the front connectors. Please note the Command Station side versus the More UTP panels side when wiring your panels. The UTP can also be used as a cab bus splitter.
If any cab bus item is 30 feet of cable or more from the command station you will need to inject power into the cab bus to make sure a clean signal of minimum 8v gets out to the the devices on the cab bus.
The regular UTP - 1/8inch (3.5mm) (Mono mini headphone jack) on the back of the UTP. The tip of the plug is positive (+) and the sleeve is negative.
If you have a regular UTP but want to add the P114 for added cab bus power, you will need to hack off the end and add the male 1/8inch (3.5mm) (Mono mini headphone plug) or solder the P114 directly to the board.
Additional power for the Cab Bus can be added to the socket in between the Cat5 sockets. We suggest a 1/2 to 2 Amp, 12 to 14Volt, Regulated DC power supply such as the NCE P114. (5.5/2.5mm plug center +).
