The PSXX has a default trip rate of 2.0 amps.
The PSXX series has the most reliable operating features that protect model railroad equipment and wiring from damage during a short circuit, including fast-acting, solid-state electronics.
The Power Shields are available in 1, 2, and 3 circuit-breaker models, allowing you to divide the output of a single booster into independent power districts.
The PSXX circuit board is wired between the DCC systems booster and the track bus.
The PSXX includes screw terminals for easy connections from the booster and to the track. There is also an extra pair of terminals for linking the booster power input wires to additional PSXX breakers should you need to add extra PSX protected power districts.

Model Wash - European Dust - 35ml Bottle
Model Wash is a range of washes created with a unique water-based formula. The product provides the model painter with new techniques for rendering the processes of ageing and exposure to the elements. Colors with a matt finish and of high capillarity, formulated to bring forth the minute details of the panels of the model and the contrasts produced by the wear and accumulated grime caused by operative and weather exposure. The versatility of Model Wash makes the product equally useful for a quick shading as for the creation of caked dust and dirt around the details of the model, such as rivets and panel lines. The washes are also used as a filter, applied in a uniform manner on the model to modify the base color. Model Wash can be applied by brush and airbrush and dries very quickly so that after some 20 minutes the painting or weathering process can be continued. Painting tools are cleaned with water.

Winter Streaking Grime Enamel Paint - 35ml Bottle

Light grey color ideal for creating dirt streaks on light or white colored surfaces. Also suitable for other effects such as add chromatic richness to any piece or surface. Shake well before use. Apply your streak with a fine pointed brush in irregular vertical lines from upper parts on sides and let the paint dry for about 10 minutes. Next take a flat brush moisted in White Spirit and swipe with little pressure over the earlier applied streak to soften the effect and create a natural look.

HO Code 83 - Curved Turnout (Right)
One of the most highly-requested pieces of track is about to make its way to the market in the form of the Atlas Code 83 Curve Turnout. This turnout features nickel silver rail and fine, brown plastic ties like the rest of our Code 83 lineup.
As a Customline Mark IV turnout, each can be set up as a remote or manual switchdepending on which switch machine is added by the modeler. Each turnout will have die-cast points and an isolated, die-cast frog with a power contact to optionally energize the frog and prevent loss of power when a locomotive is passing through.
The outside radius of the turnout is listed at 30inch; the inside radius is 22inch.

The PowerPack Maxi incorporates an integral charging circuit controlled by the decoder. Therefore it may be connected even during programming. The charging current is limited in order to avoid an undue load on the booster, in case there are several models in the same booster sector.
The buffer time can be reduced by means of a CV. This may be useful to assure the correct stopping position ahead of signals showing the Stop aspect (red signal).
The space requirements of the PowerPack Maxi of about 27.5 mm x 15.7 mm x 13 mm must be taken into account when installing this unit.
A three-pole wire harness connects the PowerPack Maxi to the decoder. The wires are already soldered to the PowerPack Maxi but must be soldered to the appropriate solder pads of the decoder.
Please note that due to technical reasons the PowerPack cannot operate in analogue mode: Buffering is therefore not possible in analogue mode.

HOOK UP:

UPGRADABLE:
On occasion new features will be added to the Cab Control system. Gone are the days of having to send your DCC command station back to the manufacturer for updates! When a new update becomes available it is as simple as loading this to a USB Data stick and plugging it in to the back of the system. Easy!
PROTECTION:
Each Cab Control system meets the relevant requirements regarding safety and operation on a layout. The track outlet is protected against overload as well as short circuits. Each Cab Control system can differentiate between a genuine short, and a momentary current drain when passing over switches or gaps. We place value on the indestructibility of the device, just like we do with our mobile decoders.
EXPANSION:
As the Cab Control System uses the ESU Mobile Control II Wireless Throttles, expansion is easy as these throttles are already available and will connect automatically to the Integrated Control Unit. The system can also be used with the ECoSBoost Boosters using the ECoSlink Terminals when more power is needed for large layouts.
CAB CONTROL - HANDHELD WIRELESS THROTTLE
Ergonomics & Functionality Combined:
When you hold your Cab Control Throttle in your hands for the first time you will immediately notice its excellent ergonomics. All Parts of the screen can easily be reached with one hand, and unlike a cell phone throttle, the most important functions can even be reached without looking giving you the ability to watch your trains and not needing to watch your throttle. This is due to the central, motorized throttle knob with end stop. With this knob you can delicately control the speed of your trains and change direction.
For activating functions simply touch the icons on the display. The display also serves for changing functions ? exactly the same way as you know it from your mobile phone. Finally, two buttons each on either side serve for changing direction or triggering the most important functions. These side buttons are user editable giving you the choice of what you want to control with them.
Colorized Function Icons are displayed showing what function does what. Gone are the days of having to memorize what function button control what decoder feature.
Running Locomotives:
The Cab Control Throttles can control all locomotives registered in the system and supports 14, 28 or 128 speed steps. All of the important locomotive properties such as name, a picture, function mapping as well as easily identifiable icons for function buttons will be taken from the Integrated Control Unit and will be displayed correctly.
You may switch up to 28 functions for each locomotive, which, of course, can either be momentary or continuous functions. You read that correctly! EVERY Function Button can be momentary or latching depending on your use! No more limitations on how you function map your decoders.
As standards are constantly changing and the number of DCC function buttons is increased a simple update will allow for even more!

The Cab Control System has the ability to run over 1000 magnetic accessories!

The high resolution (480 x 800 pixels, 280 dpi), backlit TFT display of the CabControl Throttle always keeps you up to date on the most important operating parameters. Furthermore, you can see if another operator controls a certain locomotive or if an emergency stop has been triggered. The permanently installed, powerful Lithium polymer rechargeable battery will serve you right through the most extensive operating sessions giving 5-8 hours of operation based on how you are using your throttles. Recharge the batteries of your CabControl simply by using the USB port on the Integrated Control Unit and the supplied Micro USB Cable or the battery charger of your mobile phone or any other USB port.
Open Platform:
The Cab Control Throttles are based on the Android operating system. We have created a powerful basis for this open, globally used operating system: The ARM Cortex A8 microprocessor clocked with 1.3 GHz and controls a high resolution 3.2 inch TFT color display. A capacitive touch screen assures touch-free data entry. For communicating with the outside world there is an USB port and a WLAN interface. Thanks to the standardized radio control interface, trouble free operation of your layout can be assured at any time. The range can be extended with WLAN repeaters, if necessary.

N Scale Electric Turntable
The Kato N Gauge Unitrack Turntable uses special fitted 10 inch track sections which can serve as powered parking tracks or can be substituted with dead end pieces. Its a snap to swap around and add additional tracks!
While the turntable is necessarily elevated because of the need for internal motors and other below-track equipment, thanks to clever engineering it is a mere 12mm (just under half an inch) from the base of the turntable to the top of the rails. By using the flexibility of Kato Unijoiners it is possible to connect the Turntable to a tabletop layout without the need to sink the turntable into foam.

The RC filter you install will provide the same capability at the opposite FAR end. Together they work on filtering the middle of the track bus. A divide and conquer approach to the problem that has it roots in engineering principles

All Scale BD20 - Block Detector Module
The BD-20 block detector module is normally used to indicate the presence of a locomotive, caboose or other rolling stock in a track section by sensing electrical current drawn by that rolling stock. Locomotives will naturally trigger the detector because they draw current through their DCC decoder. Unpowered rolling stock will not trigger the detector unless equipped with some means of drawing current from the rails such as lights or resistor wheel sets.
The BD20 needs to be as close to the section being detected as possible to avoid false detection triggered by long runs of cable. For the BD20 to work correctly ALL feeders for the section being detected must go thru the BD20. The best practice is to have one BD20 per feeder, and only one feeder per section of track. That section should be isolated from all other sections by using gaps or insulating rail joiners.
The BD20 acts like a normally open switch that gets triggered by sensing current going thru the coil. In a typical application you connect the outputs of the BD20 to something (Logic + 5 to 12vdc) that will react to a ground short. we use it to trigger the inputs of the AIU. Most signal systems work the same way.
The BD20 is a detection device and cannot drive a signal directly unless you want to use the external LED connection in some fashion. An AIU is an input device that detects a 5v line being shorted to ground, such as the output of a BD20. The AIU then puts this information on the NCE Cab Bus. Neither device (BD20 or AIU) are directly related to signaling. They do detection and notification.

The #156 Coupler may be mounted with the supplied #242 draft gear box, other Kadee HO-Scale draft gear box shown below or with the Manufacturers cast-on coupler pockets. The coupler will couple and uncouple with other Kadee HO and HOn3 couplers. The coupler has the same shank length as the #26, 36 or 46 coupler which will allow the modeler to remove the existing #26, 36 or 46 coupler and replace with the new smaller coupler. The #156 coupler is made of the same metal as the #46 for strength and rigidity.
It is not recommended to use a metal coupler directly on a metal surface or in a metal draft gearbox to avoid possible electrical crossover and shorting that may cause damage. Use the provided insulated gearbox.

The CAPY information is typically printed on model freight cars and can be used as a guide. Some cars have the wheel size printed on the sides or ends of the car in the data. If you are ever unsure of which size to use, you can simply replace the wheels currently on the car with the same size.

CN FEATURES:
Representing the only SD70Is built, Canadian National ordered 26 of these locomotives in 1996. They were all delivered painted in the single stripe scheme, featuring bold orange ends and a large -CN- adorning the side of the hood. Typical of many Canadian locomotives, they have several distinctive spotting features, such as early-style Pyle headlights mounted in the nose, ribbed front and rear anticlimbers, and the CN specified fuel tank with auxiliary waste oil retention tank. The bright green door is a little rugged now and the wood paneled walls could use a good wash, but it is still as secure as the day it was built.

Exterior details are unattached for customized placement or addition to other structures. Add Shacks along the track or behind factories, businesses, and homes to create even more realistic detail.

Sure to be the focal point of any HO scale engine terminal, this Walthers Cornerstone 90ft motorized turntable is where steam locomotives, and later diesels, were turned around at the end of their runs. Normally serving a roundhouse, most smaller turntables were placed adjoining the roundhouse and servicing tracks. This 90 ft turntable is large enough to turn typical locomotives as large as a 2-8-2 Mikado or 4-6-2 Pacific.
